I have a couple of friends who love to knit. They like to feel their yarn. They like to cuddle their yarn. They like to rub it on their faces. If you aren't a yarn person this may sound, well, kind of fuzzy to you! LOL! I thought they needed a card where they could feel the yarn. So, I created these for them with flock. I'm not sure how to use the flock very well, but it is soft! One of them also makes baskets, so this was the perfect set to use for her. I just need to find envelopes now. I don't like to post cards before sending normally, but in this case, I will. Just don't tell them who they are for. Bwahahahahaha! I'm pretty sure they will know instantly!
Oh, yes, I decided to try the CDS Challenge layout again in different colors.

Wow, I never thought to use the flock on the yard in this stamp set what a great idea! The cards turned out perfect. I'm a knitter too so I understand about the whole yarn feeling thing! HA!
Candy, thanks! I crochet, so I can understand the feely part, too! But, I do crochet some things where I don't want to feel---like pot scrubbers out of nylon netting. Just the thought of that on my skin makes me think, "eeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww!" I love all the super soft yarns they have out now! Too hot in these parts to crochet anything warm & wonderful right now.
That's so cute. Love the flock for the yarn. Great idea!!!!!
Super cute, and I won't tell anyone this is for me! Yep, your surprise is ruined, Miss Lori!! =)
Cute idea and I like that yarn stamp, neat idea using flocking.
O-O-O! Fondling yarn and basketweaving?? That is me!!!! (Boy, I will feel pretty dorky if it isn't).
yay! I get a card from Lori!
Great card!
Psst, Red is my favorite color.
Well, Karen Lynn & Peggysue, you'd have to be pretty dorky to not (I almost typed KNOT---ha, ha!) know which dorks I meant! Cards were in MIL's mailbox this morning, so hope the mailman got them!
